Orlando, FL - A photographer who has yet to be identified went on a shooting spree today in Orlando. Witnesses said that the saw him coming and he looked upset. The next thing we knew he was shooting. Families where trying to get their children out of the line of sight. Many ran behind buildings or cars.
The photographer continued his shooting rampage for almost two hours before taken by the local police. Upon questioning it appears he has been a photographer for a very long time and was well respected. Apparently he had gotten fed up with models not showing up for shoots or claiming that someone had died. So he decided to take matters into his own hands and show them.
It was totally mayhem as the crowd ran. One victim said “When he pointed it at me I saw my life flash in front of my eyes and I saw the light of heaven.” Luck for her a quick thinking bystander pulled her to safety before he got off another shot.
His friends were completely surprised. They new he sometimes had a short fuse, as most creatives do, but they never expected him to go off and just shoot into a crowd. There were women and children in there. His girlfriend tearfully said “I am feel so sorry for those people today, I only wish I had known. Maybe I could have stopped him.”
Victims were treated at the local hospital. Most will never forget this horrible day. Although everyone is expected to survive the mental effects will last a lifetime. PTSD is the biggest concern.
There is already an outcry from the public on how they can be better protected against this sort of attack. “Is no place safe anymore?” asked one victim. Another was worried their children will be permanently effected.
The photographers representative said the photos the photographer shot did not harm the people in any way. This is just a witch hunt trying to ban photography in public places. Several galleries have expressed interest.
